Have you ever considered what your life would be like without a soul? Would you even feel alive? The subconscious version of the mind would revert to the remaining survival instinct. When a young farm boy finds love unexpectedly, he does his best to protect her; a twist of tragedy entraps his life force as his body remains, blackmailed into service for his Oriana’s salvation.
Violent ends begin the cursed afterlife of the centurion who thrusts the final blow into Jesus Christ. The Archangel Gabriel becomes the ongoing catalyst as he creates events that bring about Armageddon. Fallen angels attempt to flout the missions of the Army of God. Raised on roman myths, the centurion's knowledge emphatically alters as he is thrown into a world he never knew existed. Over time, the soulless leader begins to lose himself inside an indestructible body that is no longer his own. Eulogy of the Centurion is the ongoing sermon of an immortal that ironically feels no longer alive and the commemoration of the losses he experiences.
I'd like to give props to my new illustrator Taylor G. Murray. I wish I could post some of his work on here, but it won't save to JPEG. If you want to view more about him, go to deviantart.com, and search for Tyxerius: that is his username.
